The Central Louisiana Human Services District (CLHSD) is the result of a state effort to combine the delivery of mental health, substance use, and intellectual disability services in a local agency.
There are 10 Human Services Districts/Authorities (LGEs) across Louisiana providing local help for Mental Health, Substance use, and Intellectual Disabilities.
The mission of CLHSD is to increase public awareness of behavioral health and developmental disability needs and to provide individuals with access to integrated, community-based services. CLHSD promotes wellness, recovery, and independence through education and by offering a broad range of programmatic and community resources that support informed choice and personal growth.
